This SUCKS! 06.30.08

Jett will be 2 next month and still drinks a bottle to go to sleep and when he wakes up in the morning, so Enoch and I are trying to get him off "THE BOTTLE" It's really really hard, especially cause he has a brother that is 12 months younger than him who still drinks like 3 or 4 bottles a day.. Well, yesterday was our first attempt at NO BOTTLE ALL DAY/ALL NIGHT.. and IT SUCKED! He cried for 2 hours at 4:00 in the morning (usually he sleeps through the night, but of course on the night we say "no more bottles" he wakes up and wants one) usually we just give it to him so he'll shut up and not wake up Bryton.. but it's gotta stop sometime! He woke up at about 8:00 crying next to our bed for a FREAKING BOTTLE! UGH! At least he never took a pacifier so I won't have to take him off that, I can't imagine..

Some people say, "just have him drink outta a sippee cup", well he won't! He'll drink juice or water out of it.. but NOT MILK! So that's not gonna happen. So, we're just gonna have him quit "cold turkey". I just wanna give up and say,"Oh for hell sakes, just give him a fetching bottle!" so I can get the sleep I need.. ha ha

Does it get easier? How did you guys get your kids off a bottle? What age? Any Suggestions.. or am I doin the right thing?

25 YEARS!! 06.22.08

"Life's greatest joys are found in the family. Strong family relationships require effort, but such effort brings great happiness in this life and throughout eternity. In our Heavenly Father's plan of happiness, a man and a woman can be sealed to one another for time and all eternity. Those who are sealed in the temple have the assurance that their relationship will continue forever if they are true to their covenants. They know that nothing, not even death, can permanently separate them."

I just want to wish my Mom and Dad a HAPPY ANNIVERSARY! 25 years ago today they were married for time and all eternity in the Provo, Utah temple. Enoch and I look up to them and their relationship so much! Anybody that knows them, knows that they act like they're still in college and just got married, not a typical Grandma and Grandpa. When my Dad is traveling for work him and my Mom talk or text 30 times a day, not kidding. My Dad treats her like a QUEEN! He is SO GOOD to her, and would do anything for her, and visa verse she'd do anything for him. "Marriage partners must be loyal to one another and faithful in their marriage covenants in thought, word, and deed. The Lord has said, Thou shalt love thy wife with all thy heart, and shalt cleave unto her and none else" (D&C 42:22). They are so much in love! The other day I was playing the song that's playing right now "From Here To Eternity" by Michael Peterson, and I look over and she was crying, thinkin' about my Dad, now how tender is that?? I tell Enoch I want our relationship in 25 years to be just like my Mom and Dad's. Love you guys! Congrats "From Here... to Eternity!"

DANG!! 06.18.08

Enoch was born and raised in L.A... He LOVES the Lakers!! He LOVES Kobe Bryant and gets ALOT of crap for it, when people say stuff about Kobe he says, "Don't hate.. congratulate!" You know how many times I heard that during the playoffs?? 5 trillion. He was so bummed that the Lakers lost to the Celtics. I'm a Jazz fan, but Enoch and I told each other that we would route for each other's team if one of them got out of the playoffs. So I was routing for the Lakers when my amazing Jazz got out! The Celtics are a really good team, they fought hard! The game tonight was EMBARRASSING for the Lakers! I was taking these pictures of Jett, Bryton, and my nephew Jayden today and laughing, because this is like all of Enoch's emotions throughout the series...

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY!! 06.15.08

First, I just wanna wish my husband a "Happy Father's Day"!

You're my EVERYTHING! You are the best Dad. Jett and Bryton are obsessed with you and I love how cute you are with them. I appreciate all you do for us, you work so hard to provide for us. I know I say this alot but I love that you honor the Priesthood and bring the priesthood spirit into our home. I couldn't have chosen a better father to my children. Thanks for all you do.
OFA LAHI ATU! UMA!

Second, we wanna wish my Dad and Enoch's Dad a "Happy Father's Day"!

Dad(Jon), I love you I'm sad we didn't get to spend time with you on this special day, we thought about you alot though. You're an incredible Dad/Grandpa! Thank you for all you do for our lil' family.. We miss you. We love you.

Dad(Vaka), We love you! We're sad we don't get to see you very often, we think about you alot and love talking to you over the phone. You're a really hard worker! An amazing example to Enoch. We miss you. We love you.

Orem City Fireworks-06.14.08

I just love summer so much, by far my favorite season. Fireworks, rodeos, BBQ's, swimming, sun tans, parades, etc. We went to the Orem City fireworks tonight. We had alot of fun!

The Bachelorette- 06.09.08

Who's watchin The Bachelorette? WE LOVE IT! We LOVE DeAnna! She is so cute and totally in it for the right reasons.. Last night we were SO happy she got rid of freaking rotten Robert, EW GROSS! It was kinda sad when she let go of Fred too, he's such a nice guy, but she didn't wanna lead him on, so we like that she's honest and straight up! We wished she would have gotten rid of FREAKING TWILLEY instead of Brian at the rose ceremony don't you?? We think Jesse is hilarious, but they just don't "click". We like Jason and Jeremy but they try a little TOO hard. Who do you guys want her to pick? Enoch and I really like Graham!! He plays hard to get a little, yet he's so so cute to her and they have the BEST chemistry! We want her to pick him.... SO FAR.... we'll see in the next few episodes.

Pony Express Days- 06.07.08

Put here in good ol' Eagle Mountain last week we had "Pony Express Days" Activities, Parade, Carnival, Concert, Fireworks, etc.. But it was too cold for most of the stuff.. hmm weird, it's JUNE! We did get a chance to make it to the Carnival..

Jett totally LOVED the boat ride that went 2 miles an hour pretty much

They had helicopter rides

Jett calmed down a little on the Merry-Go-Round, but not quite sure what's goin on

How cute is this?? Enoch and Jett on the Ferris Wheel.. Jett is Enoch's sidekick, he LOVES him!

Bryton just chilled in the stroller and did what he does best.. ate some snacks!

NO WAY! 06.07.08 <---cool date! :)

Who REALLY has to turn their HEATER on in JUNE???? IT'S FREEZING!!

NOOOO WAY!!! 06.03.08

It cost $90 to fill up our SUV today...and I hear gas prices are only gonna get higher?! RIDICULOUS. I guess I'll just be a hermit and NEVER leave my house!

Concert-05.31.08

Since I babysat Jayden yesterday... Grace (my sis-n-law) watched my boys and Enoch and I got to go on a date! One of our good friends is the drummer/singer for the band "Mana Poly All-Stars" his band was performing at this Lounge type thing up in Salt Lake. 2 other reggae bands played before them I cant remember what the first group was called, but the second group was "Natural Roots". They were all AMAZING! I LOVE reggae music, (Enoch converted me to it, and I converted him to LOVE country music) Unfortunately.. I didn't get any pics of the bands, it was too dark and they didn't turn out. We had so much fun dancing, relaxing, and listenin to the music!

Me and my HOT HUBBY!!

Me and Aubrey (her husband is the one that's the drummer/singer..Incredible-might I add)

Babysitting-05.30.08

Today I babysat my nephew Jayden! He was really good, but it was SOOOO HARD! Jett is 22 months, Bryton is 10 months, and Jayden is 5 months... WOW! I went to the mall.. ha ha ha ha ha ha What was I smoking??? I about fell over by the end of the day! But it was good for Jett and Bryton to spend some time with there ONLY cousin COMMON JAYNI AND BEN!! ;)
