Here We Come!! 04.29.08

We are moving on Friday to BALTIMORE, MARYLAND for the summer!! Enoch is going to sell security systems out there. I think he'll do a really good job, he's really good at sales and has done it for years and was a great missionary too, so door to door sales will be cake right??? Let's hope! We leave Friday and we're DRIVING, yes DRIVING to Maryland! Our house in Eagle Mountain our neighbors are checkin up on it and taking care of our yard and my Mom is going to keep an eye on it too. Crazy though. We're excited! We're takin our computer, so I will keep blogging! We'll miss everyone, but we feel really good about it!

After alot of time, hard work, and trials.. my aunt Jody Ingersoll-Sargent graduated with a Bachelors Degree in Behavioral Science from UVU today. We're all so proud of her! CONGRATS JODY, WE LOVE YOU!!

At Jayni's work it was "take your kids to work day" so who do ya think she took to work??? Yup, you guessed it... Jett and Bryton! She LOVES them SOOO much and they LOVE her SOOO much! I'm so thankful for her and how much she helps me with my boys. We wuv you aunt Dayni!

One of my best friends Amanda is getting married on May 15th. A few of us got together and had a bridal shower/bachelorette party for her, it was so much fun! We're excited for her to get married!!!

GOING PRIVATE 04.21.08

I know everyone is going private and now I am too. Jayni and I have been contemplating for awhile since everyone else has been, and this past week she got a comment from a WAY random person checkin out her blog, WEIRDO! MO HAWKS! 04.20.08

My poor boys.. they have a Mom that's a hair stylist and gets bored with their hair. I obviously need a daughter! (not anytime soon) Well.. for this month at least, the new look is MO HAWKS!! Not sure what Granny Melton thinks about 'em, but it's fun for a change.

"Hand, Foot, Mouth" 04.18.08

On Wednesday evening Jett had a high fever, I thought it might just be teething, or maybe an ear infection? He had a fever all night and on and off Thursday. Then Thursday night hit and WOW! WORST NIGHT EVER! He cried for 1 about a hour and the usual things that calm him down weren't working.. finally Enoch calmed him down and we got in bed and sure enough crying again. After another hour of trying EVERYTHING (Motrin, Tylonol, he wouldn't eat or take a bottle, get in a bath tub, we tried takin his clothes off, changin his diaper)he was still cying. I then asked Enoch to give him a blessing. He was still crying, by then it was 2:30 in the morning. I decided to call my parents and ask them for some advice. My sweet Dad answered the phone and first asked, "Has Enoch given him a blessing?" I replied,"Yes. We've tried everything!" He told me to take him for a drive. So I packed him up in the car and turned some church music on and just listened and cried. I felt helpless. I felt so bad for him and I didn't know what was wrong. I said a prayer and asked Heavenly Father to help me and Enoch have patience and for my faith to grow and know that everything was gonna be okay and that the power of the priesthood is real. After about a half hour of drivin around Jett was snoring! I took him home and he slept through the night. I'm so thankful for the gospel in my life. I can't imagine having to go through trials without it. I'm thankful that Enoch honors the Priesthood and was worthy to give Jett a Father's Blessing.

Well, first thing I did today was make an appt. for Jett to go see my uncle Jeff, he is Jett's pediatrician. Sure enough Jett woke up crying. When I took him in, after Jeff checked him out, the second he looked at his throat he told me he has "Herpangina" I was like WHAT?!?! He explained to me, "It's a mouth filled with painful blisters. This common infection can make kids miserable for the better part of a week." Kind of like "Hand, Foot, and Mouth Disease". I just felt so bad for my lil' guy! GEEZ! But he got some pain medicine and I'm supposed to keep him really hydrated and hopefully they will go away! He said it will be a few days, it just has to take it's course.

The Biggest Loser! 04.17.08

My family is obsessed with "The Biggest Loser" on NBC. We've followed every season and just think it's a very inspiring show! Enoch and I love to DVR it, put the boys to bed, and watch it when he gets home from work. I usually am texting Jayni and my Mom the whole time too, freaking out over the intese results every week. Well the Season Finale was this week and Ali won!! She lost 112 pounds in 15 weeks!

She looked STUNNING! Well swim suit season is right around the corner and we are freakin out, we have GOT to lose weight! Get off our lazy bums and just do it!

WHAT THE... WEATHER!!

The weather is bi-polar!! I'm SOOOOOOO sick of it! 81 Degrees, shorts, bermudas, flip-flops, and A/C one day -- and then 36 Degrees, freaking snow, pants, sweats, jackets, heater, and runny noses the next... WHAT?!

Switch-a-roo! 04.13.08

Enoch and I have been going to the Tongan ward in American Fork for almost 2 years now, we LOVE it! Anyone who has been around polynesians knows what incredibly friendly people they are. The spirit we feel there is always amazing. It's great for Enoch to be around his culture especially cause his family lives in California. We have met some of our best friends that we will always be friends with. People always ask me how it is goin to the ward being "white" or "palangi", I actually LOVE it! Everyone is so nice and accepting there. They sing most of the hymns in Tongan so I've tried learning how to read tongan, I'm getting better. Enoch can speak it fluently, he helps me out. My temple recommend is in tongan ha ha. It's been a BLAST! Anyways... the Tongan ward starts at 9:00 AM (on Enoch's ONLY day off), it takes us 35 minutes to get there, and gas prices are up to $3.30/gallon and we drive our SUV to church, we don't know hardly any of our neighbors, etc. So we've been contemplating switching to our ward out here in Eagle Mtn. We went to the ward out here on Sunday to try it out. The church is 2 minutes away and starts at 11:00. We fasted and prayed about what to do and we came to the conclusion to switch wards. SOOOOOO... we switched our records!!! It was really hard for Enoch, but we both know it's the right thing for us right now. We'll miss seein' our sweet friends at our ward every sunday, and we'll for sure still be goin to some of the activities don't you worry!

We Miss You! 04.11.08

A year ago today my Grandpa Melton passed away. I remember getting the phone call from my parents really early in the morning telling me the news, I cried for awhile, then I felt calm about it all and was happy he wasn't suffering anymore. He battled cancer. He had such a sweet spirit and aura about him. I'm sure my Grandma is missing her eternal companion. I'm his oldest grandkid! He's the father of 13 children and is greatly missed. We love you Grandpa and miss you so much!

My little sister will be a sophomore next year.. which is SOOOO crazy!! She has grown up WAY TOO FAST! She tried out for cheer and she made VARSITY SONGLEADER for American Fork Highschool!!!! We're SO excited for her, and don't kidd yourself..we'll be on the front row of all the games watchin her! It actually gives us an excuse to be at the games.. ha ha LOVE YA NES!

Cafe Rio Baby!! 04.10.08

My friends took me to Cafe Rio (my favorite)for my birthday, it was the first time we could all get together. It was fun and SO good to see everyone!

1 Year and counting... 04.07.08

Today we have been sealed in the Temple for 1 year! It was an AMAZING AMAZING day! I'm so thankful for the Temple and the incredible blessings we can recieve from it. I love my husband so much and I can't imagine not being able to be with him or my kids for Eternity. I'm such a LUCKY girl!
