On Sunday we as a lil' family drove the Alpine Loop. If you haven't had the chance to drive it and you live in Utah... take advantage of it and do it before it's too late. The colorful, fall leaves are breath taking! GORGEOUS views.. These pictures don't do justice, my camera took some alright pics..

Genreal R.S. Meeting- 09.27.08
My cousin Arianne, my Mom, me, and my sister Jayni went to the General Relief Society Meeting. I loved it, it always gets me excited cause it means the next week is General Conference, which I LOVE!! I can't wait. We went to Cafe Rio and some yummy ice cream place before the meeting. THANKS MOM! The speakers were awesome, I'm glad I went.
Welcome Back!
My parents went to Hawaii and I watched my little sister and brother, took care of the house, etc. I'm COMPLETELY exhausted! I was the taxi driver, drivin to football practice, cheer, school, young womens, scouts, piano lessons.. on top of taking care of a humongous house. I don't know how my Mom does it. Then again she's not takin care of 2 toddlers at the same time too. I'm so happy that my parents had a blast and that they returned safe. They hooked us up with some stuff from the swap meet, so I guess it was worth it. ;)

I went to the "So You Think You Can Dance" tour at the E Center. It was UNREAL! What an amazing talented group of people. I have SO many favorites. It was awesome to have 4 people from good ol' Utah on the tour. I went with some of my friends that I used to work with, we went to Rumbi Grill and ate first, then headed to West Valley with the help of "Garmin" found it in NO time! My throat hurts from screaming so much..
It was so crazy to see everyone in real life. I LOVED it!

Calling.. callings..09.16.08
Ever since Enoch and I have been going to the palangi ward out here we have been in the Nursery. We're in the older nursery (the kids that turn 3 in 2008) so we help them "go potty", they like to talk back sometimes, etc. PLUS-Jett won't go to the younger nursery without one of us in there with him and Bryton isn't old enough to go to nursery yet. So we have like 15 kids PLUS our 2 boys in there. Let's just say by the end of church... we're POOPED! I really don't mind the calling and I love the kids. Well a few weeks ago Enoch received another calling, he's the ward choir pianist also. Last week I received another calling too. I'm the Enrichment Leader!! AHHH! I've NEVER done this before and it scared the crap outta me.
Like I said before, we've been in nursery since we've been in the ward so I like don't know ANYONE! YES, we're still in nursery too! After I accepted the calling, I was actually really grumpy about it.. thinkin, "How am I gonna do this? It's a huge responsibility!" I figured I need to suck it up and with the Lord's help anything is possible. Today we had a meeting with my committee and with the RS 2nd counselor and it was AWESOME! I feel so much better about it and I know I'm supposed to have this calling at this time. I'm a little overwhelmed for "Super Saturday" ha ha NEVER been to one of those, and honestly I've never attended an Enrichment Night. SAD :( Now I will.. ha ha Enoch was kinda havin a bad attitude about his calling too, but he comes home from choir practice every Sunday and has a smile on his face and actually really enjoys it. The choir director told me, she LOVES Enoch playing the piano and told me how he always brings the spirit into practice.

We had the oppertunity to go watch the Cougars SPANK UCLA!! It was a BLAST! Grace watched Bryton and Jayni watched Jett. The atmosphere there is AMAZING! We had so much fun. There was SO many people and it was SO hot!

Happy Birthday Jayni- 09.10.08
I just wanted to wish my little sister Jayni a Happy 23rd Birthday! I couldn't love and appreciate all she does for me more. She has the most spunky, sassy, competitive personality of anyone I know. Who doesn't love a girl that will break her back if she has to do a back handspring just to show Janessa she can do it? Who will jump in a pool or slip-n-slide with her clothes and make-up on just to have a good time? Or who puts purple streaks in their hair just to be different? Who makes a design with the potatoes, carrots, meat, peppers, and onions for her tin foiled dinners just so hers doesn't only taste better than everyone else, but its gotta LOOK better? But yet.. she has the most tender feelings and could not be more sweet and spiritual at times. I look up to my little sister alot. I remember looking at her in the temple when she got married and she was so perfect. So beautiful and pure. She will be THE BEST mother EVER! She is so so so so good to my boys and they love her so much. Her and Ben are so dang cute together. Jayni's eyes are incredible, SO BLUE! She is so pretty and has the most perfect smile.. Nayn, I hope you have a good day. We love you so much!

Today we got to go support my cousin and participate in the Down Syndrome Buddy Walk! It was fun. They had face painting, food, inflatable toys, music, the SLCC Bruin, clowns, etc. Their was so many cute down syndrome kids... but my favorite one was.........

Encoh and I got to go on another date (lucky us huh?) We went and watched The Mana Poly All-Stars perform up in Murray. My best friend's husband is the drummer for them. We had a BLAST hangin out, listenin to music, and dancin! We're lovin their new cd too!
Deron Williams and Kyle Korver were there also, I wanted to take a picture SOOoo bad, I felt like a dork though, I didn't dare! They were actually there with Enoch's cousin Tony, so he introduced us to them.. I guess just shaking their hand is ok. :)

Today would have been my Grandma and Grandpa Melton's 50th Wedding Anniversary, my Grandpa passed away of cancer April of 2007. I just wanted to wish my Grandma a happy anniversary and hope she had a good day! I bet she misses my Grandpa :(
