WHAT A BLESSING!!

On Wednesday night, my Dad's best friend (who is like an uncle to me) there was a surprise 50th birthday party at my parent's house. It had been a long day, I had done hair, my back hurt, I was WORN OUT!! But, I had to help set up for this birthday party because everyone else was busy or at work, etc. So I was happy to help out. I arrived at my parent's at about 4:30 PM and I took in a few loads to the house (crock pot, my boys, change of clothes, my hair stuff, etc) the last thing I had to go get was my purse with my keys in it. Well I got distracted and started cleaning, cooking, decorating.. before I knew it the party was over it was 11:30 and Enoch had loaded up the boys in the SUV and everything else. I went out there and looked for my keys/purse... IT WAS GONE!! I was like, "Enoch, you hid it. You're just tryin to make me learn my lesson for leaving my keys, purse, wallet in the car unlocked huh?" He said, "NO, why would I joke about something like this? I'm so tired, it's FREEZING! I'm NOT kidding!" Well.. we came to the conclusion that my purse was stolen!

I was freaking out! My purse had my wallet in it with my debit card, credit card, cosmetology license, temple recommends, $35 cash, my check book, PRETTY MUCH YOU NAME IT! It had my digital camera in it with 1000 pics from 2009. 2 cute knitted headbands. MY KEYS which had my only key to my SUV, a key to my parent's house, a key to my church, etc. I WAS SO MAD AT MYSELF!! WHAT A DORK AM I??? I called the police obviously and filed report. We were all lookin for the purse around the neighborhood, in the bushes, etc. I was SO WORRIED my identity was stolen! I was SOOO SCREWED! We cancelled the cards, put a freeze on our account, etc. I was freakin out about my camera. They had my address. AHHHH! Enoch and I went home that night and I was of course BAWLING. We were praying for comfort and safety n stuff. I was scared.

The next day we went back to my parent's house to get everything situated with my SUV, call a tow truck to come get it and take it to a Chrysler dealership to get a$180 key made. My parent's were taking off the locks on their house to go get new ones made. Come to find out their next door neighbors had been robbed that previous night as well and had $100 cash stolen. There was muddy foot prints in their front room. My brother's car was parked where he lives in American Fork and his car back window and been broken into and his back pack and temple bag were stolen.

Come to find out, the neighbors across the street from my parent's house found my purse dumped out in their back yard and had turned it in. They didn't know who I was. I called the police station and went in and they questioned me, took pics of my purse, etc. GUESS WHAT?!? Everything was there EXCEPT my $35 cash!!! I GOT SOOOOOOOOOOOO LUCKY!! My keys, my wallet, my camera... AHHH! WHAT A BLESSING! I got so lucky! They could have stolen my car, pawned off my camera, broke into my church, broken into my parents house.. YOU NAME IT! I'm SOOO thankful that just that cash was taken.

COMMON IT'S CHRISTMAS PEOPLE!!! I mean.. I learned my lesson n everything.. but GEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEZ!!!
I LOVE Thanksgiving! It was wonderful having my husband have a few days off. The food is always UNREAL.. It's such a great time to reflect on everything I'm grateful for. This year we had Thanksgiving at my Parent's house and Lindsey, J.J.'s wife's awesome family joined us. She has a HUGE family so it was pretty crazy, especially cause the next day was their wedding. I took 2 pictures, it was just SOOOO busy I didn't even have time.

Enoch was playin the piano, he's AMAZING.. All of Lindsey's family kept telling me how talented he is. :] I LOVE HIM!

My Mom had really cute decorations everywhere, these were the only one's left up when I pulled out my camera and had a minute to sit down.

Enoch was determined to go get the boys some stuff from Wal-Mart on "Black Friday", so he went and picked up his lil brother and took him with him, cause I sure as heck wasn't about to go.. It was a success, they had fun and got what we wanted!! :]

THE WEDDING/RECEPTION
J.J. and Lindsey Melton were married on November 27th, 2009 for Time and All Eternity in the Mt. Timpanogas Temple. The sealing was simply beautiful.
Our lil family waiting outside for the new couple to come out..

THE BEAUTIFUL COUPLE THEMSELVES!!! She was a GORGEOUS bride and he was too shabby of a groom himself..

(blury I know.. whatever) The whole Melton clan at the reception

Our lil family at the reception.. Jett and Bryton were totally cooperating, if ya couldn't tell. Remind me what I'm doing having another kid!!!!!!!!!!????????

On their way to their HONEYMOON BABY!!! :]

CONGRATS GUYS!! We love Lindsey and we're excited for her to be a part of our family now.. Even though she's more mature than all of us put together.. ha ha ha jk, she's darling! :]I wish that I would have taken more pics of the freaking cute reception, but clearly I COULDN'T HAVE BEEN MORE EXHAUSTED!!

Rise & Shout baby!!

The BYU-UTAH game was a GREAT game whether you're a Utah fan or a BYU fan don't ya think?? I like Utah, Enoch's cousin starts for them #54 Tevita Stevens, we love watching him, I really like the Coach, I want Utah to win... EXCEPT when they play BYU.. I gotta cheer for my COUGS!!! :] Enoch and I got to go to the game and had a BLAST, thanks Dad and Mom for the tickets! Yes, it was FREEZING. Enoch went with Jaxon, Janessa, and Tyler to crash the field and to see his cousin, so the only pics I got was of me and my Aunt Jillinda. She came for my brother's wedding, we had so much fun! Thanks again for the churros.. Mmmmm!! :] It feels SOOOOOOO GOOD TO WIN!!!

Last night we went & saw "The Blindside", it was awesome! Sandra Bullock and Tim Mcgraw did great in it. It made me get choked up at times, angry at times, laughing at times, etc. Plus, it's based on a true story. I give it TWO THUMBS UP! :] I'd love to see it again. (It is kind of a long movie, so for all of your pregnant people.. don't drink soda during it and make sure you go to the bathroom during the previews) HA HA

I've been trying to grow out Bryton's hair since the summer just to see what it would look like as a shag..I was getting SOOO sick of it. It gets fuzzy in 5 mins and it looked like he had a receding hairline in the front. Enoch FINALLY talked me into buzzing his hair off, he's been beggin me for awhile.. I first tried a faux hawk on it, it took me like an hour! He HATED every minute of it. I cut my fingers. He was NOT havin it. I tried styling it and it just didn't look right... So I Buzzed it.

Do ya think he would even look up for an "after picture" nope.. he was not havin it.. THE STINKER!!

ARRRRGH!
My friend Aisha's son, Kaluna, had a birthday party at that Pirate Island Pizza place. We had a BLAST! Their pizza is WAY better than Chuckie Cheese's, but a lot more crowded. Enoch had to work, so my sister Jayni came and helped me with Jett and Bryton.. I would have DIED without her. Thanks Nayn! :]

Bryton was so excited and ran into the corner of a table and got a black eye. Everyday it gets more and more black.. Poor Guy!

OBSESSION
This week was kinda funny everyone was obsessing over New Moon and In-N-Out!! I am not a Twilight fan, never read the books.. no desire to. Never saw the movie Twilight, but I have to admit.. seein everyone wear T-shirts, havin ladies nights, goin out to eat, stayin up all hours of the night, etc. made me want to go at least watch the movie.. I've heard great things about it. I think some people are CRAZY obsessed with Edward or Jacob.. but who cares?? It's fun! More power to ya, I say.. Have fun!
Me, on the other hand, I was obsessing over In-N-Out.. Call me crazy, but I think it's THE BEST burger around! Every time we go to St. George, Vegas, Arizona, or Cali we ALWAYS go! I wasn't one of the crazy people that slept out in the cold the night before it opened, but yeah we waited about 30 mins in line for the scrumptious food [[IN MY OPINION]] I would do the same if I moved outta state and they opened up a JCW's, they have a GREAT burger. If some of you stubborn people decide to go try it out, try a double-double plain (meat, cheese, and bun) ;) YUMMMM!! I admit-their fries aren't the best, but they're alright. Their service is GREAT too.. We had a blast!

H1N1 Flu Vaccine
Yes, I gave in and got the H1N1 vaccine for the boys and myself. I feel really good about my decision. My husband's been wanting us to all get it as well. I contemplated A LOT, especially being pregnant. I talked to my uncle who is a PA at Alpine Pediatrics, I talked to my OB.. Jett has asthma.. etc.

Last night our ward had The Evening in Excellence for Young Women's. I serve as the 1st counselor in the presidency. It has been a challenging--yet THE MOST rewarding calling I've EVER had! At times I feel unworthy to serve these AMAZING Young Women in my ward. They AMAZE me. In preparing for this evening we had a few stumbling blocks in our way, but with a lot of prayer and hard work.. the night could NOT have turned out more perfect! Us leaders and the Young Women sang "If the Savior Stood Beside me" I couldn't even sing I was crying the whole time. These sweet girls were so pure and so beautiful singing. It definitely brought the spirit to the room. We had a speaker come speak to us about the new value: Virtue. The speaker was actually my aunt Monica's Mom, Sister Farnsworth and she was INCREDIBLE. The spirit was so strong, she had one of the Young Women stand and recite the Theme and as this cute Mia-Maid got up and starting reciting the theme slowly, she began to cry and of course me (the pregnant emotional basket case) did too. This theme is so GREAT!
We are daughters of our Heavenly Father, who loves us, and we love Him.
We will "stand as witnesses of God at all times and in all things,
and in all places" (Mosiah 18:9) as we strive to live
the Young Women values, which are:
Faith
Divine Nature
Individual Worth
Knowledge
Choice and Accountability
Good Works
Integrity and
Virtue.
We believe as we come to accept and act upon these values,
we will be prepared to strengthen home and family, make and keep sacred covenants,
receive the ordinances of the temple, and enjoy the blessings of exaltation.

I'm just so thankful for the other leaders I have to work with and the sweet daughters of God I serve, so humbling. I love them all SO MUCH, couldn't ask for a better calling right now. My Mom and sister Jayni came to support me as well and it meant a lot to me. Thanks guys.

HALF-WAY DONE!!!
We had our 20 week ultra sound last week.. everything is so far-so good! STILL A GIRL!! :] I feel kicking now and I'm lovin every minute of it.. now that I'm not sick as H***. My booty and thighs just keep GROWIN and GROWIN.. UGH. That's where I gain most of my weight during pregnancy. EEEEeeeee! I should probably step on my treadmill, it's getting a lil too dusty for my liking.

We went to our old tongan ward's Halloween dance. It was SOOOO GREAT to see all of our old ward! We had so much fun! The kids dressed up and were lovin dancin everywhere.
THE NIU COUSINS were about the cutest cavemen around!!

Best Brothers..

I love him. Even though he's posing like a "gangster" in this picture.. ;)

The boys were SOOOOOO excited to go Trick-or-Treating.. they LOVED it!

My lil brother and some of his friends took them around my Mom's neighborhood before it got dark, then Enoch took them some more around his cousin's neighborhood..

Halloween Festivities!!

I love Halloween! It is such a fun time of year. I love the decorations, the candy, the treats, the parties, the costumes, etc. This year was full of such fun festivities..
My last job I had before I had kids I worked with some AMAZING girls, we all pretty much still keep in touch and are all friends. We try to get together every so often and have a "play group" with all of our kids. It's crazy how the number of kids keeps growin and growin.. Everyone dressed them up and it was REALLY hard to get them all to cooperate to get a good picture!

We had a "Melton Family Halloween Party"!! I LOVE MY FAMILY!!
Bryton and Jett

My Mom is SOOO AMAZING and is just so perfect! She made these cute cupcakes with fake spiders and fake rats on them. She makes THE MOST AMAZING potato cheese soup, we had that with cute pumpkin bread bowls too.

We had a donut eating contest.. LINDSEY (J.J.'s finace) won. I sucked. Ya probably couldn't tell by the picture though.. ha ha

The boys turn..

It was close between J.J. and Ben.. Ben won!

We bobbed for apples.. My Mom WON! She could NOT have been faster! We were all crapping our pants after she went.. ha ha YOU GO MOM!

My Dad is hilarious and put together a "white elephant" type game.. He wrapped up a bunch of random gifts (I wish I had more pictures) we all chose one, traded a few, then opened them.. SOOO FUNNY!! One of the only ones I got a picture of was Janessa's gift (GARGATUAN underwear) Jayni and Janessa both fit in em. ha ha

Before the pumpkin carving...

Everyone getting to work..

The finished jack-o-lanterns!!
