Good Bye My Nursery! 12.28.08

You have NO idea how sad I am that my nursery class in moving up to Sunbeams! I'm not gonna lie I complain a lot about this calling, but I could NOT love the kids in there more. I call them "my nursery" even though I have Enoch in there to help me, but he's usually taking care of Jett and Bryton and another guy Brother Holdsworth, but they like me the BEST! ;) I have a special place in my heart for all of them. I could name reasons why I love each and every one of them. I'm excited for them to move up to Sunbeams and who ever is the Sunbeams teacher is a lucky person! They are the sweetest, most unique group of kids. I love them. I'm gonna miss them.

Me with some of the kids..

Aren't they SOOOO CUTE?!? ALL OF THEM.

OH... and in case you wanted to know I was just told today at church that my next years nursery will have 22 kids in it.. AWESOME! ON TOP of being Enrichment Leader.. WOW!

Ingersoll Date Night-12.27.08

Every year when we have family in town for the holidays, we have an "Ingersoll Date Night" Everyone who is 16 and over get to come.

These are the two who began the Ingersoll clan! They just recently returned from their 3rd mission. They served in Hawaii. We're thankful for their service and the blessings that came to us all from their sacrifices.

We played the Wii.. I SUCK at it. But it's fun.

We even got Grandma and Grandpa in the mix, it was HILARIOUS!

Happy Birthday Grandpa Niu-12.27.08

We just love him. Jett was named after him Jett "Vaka". Enoch's Dad is such a sweet laid back guy. He works so hard for his family.. I see where Enoch gets his work ethic from.. his Dad! The apple falls not far from the tree. His Dad came up from L.A. to visit us. We wish he could have stayed longer.

Fixin the dishwasher..

Him with his 3 grandsons.. IMPOSSIBLE to get a good picture! Oh well, you get the point! ;)

HAPPY 54th BIRTHDAY GRANDPA NIU!

MERRY CHIRSTMAS! 12.25.08

Christmas was so great this year! I'm so thankful for this time of year to reflect on the Birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. I love hearing sweet stories about the spirit of "giving" for the holidays. I know it feels so good to serve others. I remember growing up and my parents were tight on money and someone would do "The 12 Days of Christmas" for my family, or we would open up our garage and and see a bunch of groceries there. I love stuff like that, it makes me get choked up.

I did NOT do good on Christmas gifts this year!! I think I was all crazy from my brother coming home, Christmas parties, etc. and I feel so bad! I didn't do Christmas cards, friends gifts, etc. :( I'll do A LOT better next year and it doesn't mean I don't love ya..I'm sorry. It's been awesome having Enoch home for like 9 days! I love him so much. He's so sweet and tender to me and my boys. He does so much for us and works so hard so that we could have a great Christmas. Thanks Babe! You spoil us.

Jett tried to wait up for Santa as long as he could!

Enoch and Jett following Santa online...

The boys had fun opening gifts. Jett especially though, he believes in Santa Claus, etc. Bryton didn't really get what was going on.. Jett asked for "Buzz" and "Woody".. I guess Santa thought he was a good boy! :]

I think the boys favorite gift was their bikes! They wouldn't even get off them to open the rest of their gifts.. I tried to get them to look up for a picture.. YEAH RIGHT! That wasn't happening..

Christmas Eve-12.24.08

Every year on Christmas Eve we have the "Annual Melton Family Christmas Party", all of us kids and the spouses draw names for gifts so we exchange them on this day, we open the presents from my parents, we eat OBVIOUSLY (this year we went to ihop Mmmm), have a ginger bread house contest, etc. This year was a lot of fun! Dad and Mom THANKS FOR EVERYTHING!

It's been awhile since all 5 of us kids have been together for Christmas.. Good Times! :]

Jett & Bryton LOVED opening presents!!

This year my parents gave us all $10 to go to Smiths and get whatever we wanted to decorate our gingerbread houses with. We also drew names at ihop earlier to see who was on who's team.

The teams were: Enoch and Ben

J.J.

Jobi and Jayni

Janessa and Jaxon

Enoch's first time on a snow mobile.. look at his feet! Flip-flops, or as he would call it, SLIPPERS! It's his Tongan blood.. ha ha I HAD to take a picture of it!

J.J. brought back a t-shirt form Estonia for Jett, nice picture huh? ha ha

Grandma and Grandpa holding their grand kids that they don't spoil ONE BIT! You can't see the blankets very well, but my Mom and Jayni worked really hard & made REALLY cute blankets for the boys. The blankets had all different kinds of "Aloha" material.. SO CUTE! Thanks AGAIN

Snow.. Snow.. & MORE SNOW! 12.23.08

Jett and Bryton have never really played in the snow, but when the snow it like 2 feet high outside your house, how can ya resist?

THEY LOVED IT! No matter how cold they got.. they didn't want to go back inside. They have asked like everyday since to go back out in their "boots" and play in the snow.

Yes.. snow was fun for Christmas, but I don't like it anymore.. GO AWAY SNOW!

The Fish! 12.22.08

Enoch has been begging me to let him get a fish tank, I finally gave in and we got a little one. Jett was a lil' nervous at first.. but now the boys LOVE it! We had a fish already die and Enoch took it back to Pet Smart and EXCHANGED IT! HA HA HA HA Who does that?? ENOCH. I love him.

Jett.. a lil' nervous at first! ha ha

I had to keep Bryton from slapping the glass.. He wouldn't stop!

That's Right!-12.16.08

YAY Michelle! 110 LBS lost=$250,000! I LOVE HER!

I LOVE THIS SHOW! It is so inspiring. First off.. Good job America, voting for Ed by a landslide. Ha Ha Ha Wasn't that SO embarrassing when Heba (Enoch calls her "Heba-potomus") slipped walking out? She did look really good though, beautiful face. I wish that Philip or Amy would have won the $100,000!! They looked STUNNING! Shellay and Amy-AWESOME. Jerry-WOW! Stacey-YOU GO GIRL! Um... LT?? WOW I couldn't believe the scale said he lost THAT much, I didn't think it looked like it. He should have been workin out with his Dad a lil' more. What was the host wearing that dress for?! Her and Vicky need help on the wardrobe side of things. WOW! VICKY.. ha ha ha SHE SLIPPED TOO! I wish she would have fallen on her butt. I still HATE her! I'm SO happy she didn't win. She looked better at the Finale, but EW.. still NOT one bit attractive! I can't wait for January 6th on NBC, the next season premiere, for all of you who haven't got hooked on this show.. Well here's your chance! This show makes me cry every week. It changes lives. I'm already routing for the heaviest contestant to EVER be on the show and he is only 19 years old to win next season.

Santa-12.13.08

My neighbor came over and knocked on my door and told us that Santa is coming around the neighborhood in a fire truck and throwing out candy to the kids.. So we got all bundled up (it was freezing/snowing outside)

AND SANTA CAME! Sirens and all... He wasn't throwing out candy though.. bummer.. That's what I was lookin forward too! :]

J.J.'s Homecoming! 12.12.08

J.J.'s flight came in at 11:00PM, he had a big ol' crowd awaiting his arrival! He has such awesome friends and family that are all so supportive.

Me and my monsters waiting for Uncle J.J.

When he came down the escalator we were all BAWLING! The spirit was so strong. It was so good to see him after 2 years! He's grown up so much. He's so mature, so polite, and he's grown a bit. Just SO handsome! I just love him. :]

The WHOLE FAM BAM! Since he's been gone there's been 2 additions to the family. Ben, Jayni's husband and Bryton, I was 2 months pregnant with him when he left.

Elder Melton and The Niu Family!!

It's been so much fun to be around him. Jett and Bryton were scared of him at first and were being cry babies, but now they have warmed up and LOVE him! He spoke in church on Sunday and did an AMAZING job! The chapel was FULL.. FULL...FULL! His topic was "How The Book of Mormon has strengthened his Testimony" It was great to hear stories from his mission. He was so tender and sweet, so emotional speaking up there. The spirit was so strong. On his mission he learned how to speak Estonian, Latvian, and a little bit of Russian. He bore his Testimony in Estonian, it is a CrAzY language to hear.
