::Happy Father's Day::-06.19.11

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to all the Dad's out there!!
The kids & I made this sign for Enoch when he got home from work early Sunday morning :)

I couldn't have asked for a better Father for our kids! Enoch is an AMAZING man. We got so lucky! He is such a hard worker. He always puts the Gospel & his family first. The kids absolutely ADORE him. At least 2 of the 3 kids are crying every time he leaves for work.

The other day I was in the kitchen cleaning and I walked out to the front room to this! haha. I had to take a picture.. When he is not at work, they are ALL OVER him! Thanks Babe for all you do for our lil family!

We would also like to wish The Grandpa's (Mine & Enoch's Dad) a HAPPY FATHER'S DAY AS WELL!

My Dad LOVES being a Grandpa, probably because everyone FREAKS out when they hear he is one. I couldn't have asked for a better Dad to raise me. He's an incredible example! My kids LOVE him. They love sitting on his lap watching TV with him in his chair, riding on the lawn mower with him, helping him do yard work, love riding in his truck with him, working on his "projects" with him, playing on his i.pad with him, etc. Thanks for all you do for us Dad! LOVE YOU.

Enoch's Dad LOVES his grand kids, they love when he brings them McDonald's happy meals, riding in his trucks with him, and when he throws the football to them. Thanks for all you've done for us. Love ya

We're blessed to have so many amazing Father's in our lives!!

{June 9, 2011}

We got hooked up with FREE TICKETS to Disneyland/California Adventure, thanks to "DB"! We had a BLAST of course. My camera is still broken, so thanks to my phone providing all my pictures...ugh!

My favorite ride is California Screamin! I LOVE it!

We went with a guy that Enoch works with and his cute family. I totally have a new friend that I'm so pumped about! They're in our Stake too. LOVE Nasi!! We laughed our butts off.

It's fun trying to get these three to all smile & look at the camera.. my camera on my phone, none-the-less!

We went to my Great-Grandma's 99th birthday party out here in California!! She's my Dad's Grandma. Isn't she the cutest little thing ever?! My kids weren't sure what to think. haha. So here's the kids with their Great-Great Grandma!

This past week we went to Utah for Enoch's little brother, Mana, and my little sister, Janessa's graduations.

Mana graduated from Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs. We're really proud of him and love him so much. He is an incredible athlete, it was fun watching him play basketball throughout High School. He is only 17, so he'll probably work, maybe go play ball somewhere until he leaves on his mission next Summer? CONGRATULATIONS MANA!!

It's fun, because him and my little sister Janessa are friends, they went to Homecoming one year as well. Awww... mini Jobi & Enoch ;) jk. They're "JUST FRIENDS" she came with us to his graduation.

My little sister graduated from American Fork High School. I just LOVE her SO MUCH! It is so crazy that she is all grown up! :(

Me, Janessa, & Jayni (couldn't LOVE my sister's more! They're my BEST friends, besides my Mom of course)

The Melton Family (minus J.J. & Lindsey)

Janessa & her besties

She is not sure of what she is going to do now that she is graduated. Work? School? Cheer? She is on Heritage Tours, which I'm SO JEALOUS! I want to go again. It's a church history tour that you go on for 3 weeks with a bunch of Seminary graduates your age. It was, besides my sealing, THE MOST spiritual experience of my life. It's where I gained a Testimony for myself. It is INCREDIBLE! You learn a lot about the pioneers & a lot about Joseph Smith. I can't wait to hear all about it when she gets back! Love you Ness. I look up to you a lot. You're so pure! Such a good girl. Thanks for being a great example to me & my kids.

While we were in Utah, I became an Aunt again!! My first niece BENTLEY MAE MELTON was born. My beautiful sister n law did a great job. I'm so proud of you Linds.

A few hours old...

Isn't she so perfect?! She has THE CUTEST little lips, nose, and ears EVERRR!

It's CRAZY my little brother is a Dad. I'm really proud of him. I went to the Hospital again to visit and this is what I saw when I walked in the room.. Is that not TENDER?! He'll be an AMAZING Dad. I can't wait to see his cute lil family grow. CONGRATUALTIONS J.J. & LINDSEY!! Love you!

I LOVE him SOOOOOO MUCH! This was at Chuck-a-Rama before Janessa's graduation, hence my GARGANTUAN smile... anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE, LOVE it there...

How much do I LOVE when this happens??

{Hey Hey!!- 05.17.2011}

Well... holy crap. I'm actually updating my blog! Does anyone even read it anymore? When I look on a lot of people's blog lists they have my "old blog" [enochandjobi(dot)blogspot(dot)com] on it. That's not my blog anymore! So no one ever sees that I update?? I don't know? Anyways...
I miss my friends.
I miss my ward.
I miss my family.
I miss my house.
I miss my trampoline.
I miss the prices of gas.
I miss my front loader washer & dryer.
I miss my garage.
I miss my yard.
I miss my neighbors.
I miss Wal-Mart.
I miss Enoch's old job (that I despised and said I'd rather be poor and live in a card board box & actually have a husband=now that this has come true....I'd take that job ANY DAY over this crap!)
Pretty much, I miss my "old life" BEFORE I moved to California! :( Don't get me wrong, there are GREAT things about California.
I love my ward friends.
I love my ward.
I love the weather.
I love the beach.
AND.. that's about it! haha
I really need to change my attitude. HELP ME. NOTHING has worked out here [actually, I take that back. Enoch got hired on at Delta & we have flying benefits that keep me sane] What happened? We prayed about moving out here. It felt SO right. I won't go into detail & complain you'd be reading this blog for hours. But there is NOTHING I can do about it right now. We don't want to give up his job @ LAX. There isn't any openings at the SLC airport (even if there was, it's hard to transfer)So basically I need to just suck it up! Stop being grumpy towards these 3 lil munchkins & my sweet husband BLESS THEIR HEARTS!

Yup...3 car seats...better believe it!

I have so much to be thankful for. I taught the lesson on Sunday in Young Women's and it was about "our wonderful legacy" Joseph Smith, the Pioneers, etc. I was able to share my Testimony with these sweet girls. I can't imagine being alive during the Joseph Smith/pioneer time. They have the right to complain. Sheesh. Last night we had Family Home Evening and my amazing husband taught a lesson on "Choosing The Right" and my innocent, tender children were just soaking it all in. I'm so grateful for my little family. It's funny whenever my boys pray they always say without fail "PLEASE BLESS THAT MOMMY WILL BE PATIENT!" :( I suck. I really do need to be patient. I'm so thankful for the Gospel. Honestly, if I didn't have the Gospel & my family..........
I don't even know.
Here's a little update on the kids:
Jett & Bryton are best friends. I LOVE having them 12 months apart it's been a BLAST! They are OBSESSED with Justin Bieber, frankly I don't care, cause so am I! ;) jk. Jett has 5 girl friends @ church. Girls love him. I'm in TROUBLE. He could go to Kindergarten this fall, but he has a late birthday so I'm holding him back. I'm hoping he'll get into the TEDDE program out here. It's like Pre-K in Utah, but FREE. He is such a good big brother and is so obedient for the most part. He is so talented and will be so good at whatever he goes for in life. Bryton, Bryton, Bryton...hahahahaha he is HILARIOUS! He makes us laugh & cry every day ;) He is a STINKER. He does NOT know how to whisper. Really. It's a problem. He wears his clothes backward EVERY DAY! He HATES pants and will NOT wear them. I literally have to hold him down and shove em on. They'll be off within a few minutes and he'll already have shorts on (usually backwards) UGH. He loves to tackle Oakley & Jett. He tests our patience everyday and has become REALLY good friend's with "time out"! Good thing he's so freakin cute or else I don't know what we'd do with him.

Oakley runs this home. She is 100% GIRL. She's the princess. haha. Her scream is REALLY annoying & loud, our poor neighbors! She LOVES Enoch & is TOTALLY a "Daddy's girl" Whenever she is around other kids she tends to be a little "rough" it's EMBARRASSING! She is always protecting herself from her two older brothers! At church we spend 3 hours in the halls. She still has 4 1/2 months till she can go into nursery.. FUNNNNN!! She is obsessed with keys and cell phones. She is so much fun. We can't get enough of her.

She is finally starting to get some hair...kind of... She's in for a real treat with me being a hair stylist ;) Poor girl!

Living in California we live closer to Enoch's extended family. We went to Hemet a few weeks ago for Enoch's cousin's homecoming and this is the only picture I took :( The boys LOVED spending time with their cousins!!

We are going to my nephew's 1st birthday party this weekend in Utah & then the beginning of June again for my sister's graduation, the kids are SO EXCITED to see Uncle Jaxon & T.Ray (of course everyone else too)

::My new nephew::

My sister n law Grace had a new baby boy. I had the privilege of being in the room when she delivered him, it's always such a spiritual, amazing experience! She did AWESOME, only pushed like 2 times. She was a CHAMP & HE IS PERFECT.

How stinkin cute is he in his car seat?

I'm pretty much obsessed with him.

We went to Arizona and spent almost a week there. We had a BLAST! Between my sister n law Grace & my Aunt Jillinda, they spoiled us. I'll do another post later about our Arizona trip, when I have more time.

::Advice please::

For all of you nursing mother's out there, I need some advice! I only nursed Jett for 6 weeks, I nursed Bryton for 4 months and he would take a bottle as well, so eventually I just stopped nursing and gave him a bottle. Well, with Oakley, she's NEVER taken a bottle, or even been a slight bit interested in one. That or a binky. I've only nursed her.

She just turned one and I want to stop nursing. I'm gonna start getting some weird looks considering how tall she is. My 18 year old sister "gags" when I feed her. haha. HOW DO YOU WEAN A BABY FROM NURSING?? Any tips? What worked for you? When did you quit?

I've tried sippy cups (3 different kinds to be exact) sure she'll drink out of it, but NO WAY to go to sleep for a nap or at night? I HATE living in an apartment, because people surround us and I HATE letting her just cry and annoy everyone. I swear there is ZERO kids that live near us. I give in and just nurse her. I heard that if you wait till they're like 14 months, they communicate better with you and it's easier?? HELP ME.

::withdrawls::

I love Facebook. I love keeping in touch with everyone, looking at pictures, being nosy, reading statuses, etc. However, I spend WAYYYYY TOO MUCH time on it. I've had the "promptings" to get off of it for awhile now, after General Conference I finally did! I need to spend my time more wisely on being a better parent, wife, cook, cleaner, etc. heck, maybe I can actually get a workout or two in! If I spend as much time as I did reading the scriptures or Conference talks as I did on FB..... I'd be doing REALLL good! Anyone that knows me knows this is REEEEEEALLY hard for me. I'm a "FB addict" haha. Some people are giving me crap for it, I tell em, "Sheesh, have a lil faith in me!" haha ;)

I'm jealous of those of you who can limit your time on it, who actually have a life. haha. I can't. If I'm given an inch...I take a mile!
(No wonder I've been updating my blog so much recently)

:: Yum Yum!!"::

Have you ever tried frozen grapes?? If not... GO BUY SOME RIGHT NOW!

Take them off the "thing" (what's it called? the plant?) haha so the stems aren't in them, put them in a zip-loc bag and freeze them! Then... eat them...seriously... CANDY! So healthy too. You'll be addicted.

::ONE & twenty seven::

Happy 1st Birthday to our "Pwetty Pwincess" "Oaker Doker" "Ooooakwee Juwee Niu" "Oaks"!! (she turned 1 on the 30th of March, I've just been a huge blog slacker) Crazy how time flies. I remember her being born just like it was yesterday.

She brings our little family so much joy. She is a little DIVA already. She walks around already being bossy to her brothers..and Dad ;) It's kind of embarrassing when she is being a stinker to other kids/babies, because she's used to protecting herself from her 2 older brothers. She thinks anything & everything is a cell phone. I'm having a blast with my baby girl. We love her so much!

& guess who turned twenty frickin seven on the 31st? ME. Yup, I'm a grandma pretty much. Ahhhh!! I hate my birthday. I always hype it up to be such a fun, exciting, all the attention on me type of a day...and it never is. :( Yup, I'm a baby. "It's my party and I'll cry if I want to!" My husband is of course always good to me, maybe I just have a bad attitude? I don't love surprises, maybe that's why? anyways.. I'm OLD. Sheesh.

PS-My cousin's wife, Andrea, took the "1 year" pictures of Oakley, she did such a good job!

::Festive Fingernails::

Ever since Oakley was born.. I've LOVED to paint her fingernails! It's funny people get the biggest kick out of it & I love it. She's my first girl.. what do you expect?

{The day she was born}

{4th of July}

{Halloween}

{Christmas}

{Valentines Day}

{St Patricks Day}

...and YES, I paint them while she's asleep.

::Look Who's Walking!!::

Oakley has been walking for a few weeks now, I know this is a terrible picture, but it was the first time she "walked..WALKED" ya know?? So, I HAD to post it. She's growing up too quickly. Time flies!!
