"We Thank Thee Oh God For A Prophet"- January 27, 2008
I'm so grateful for the life that President Gordon B. Hinckley lived(1910-2008), all he did for our church, especially his emphasis on the building of the many beautiful temples. I'm happy for him to be with his eternal companion, his sweetheart once again. I can't even imagine how it was when they reunited. I'll miss listening to him at General Conference his sweet spirit and amazing sense of humor. My thoughts and prayers are with his family.. We love you!

Happy Birthday Gr Grandma Melton-January 27, 2008
Today is my Grandma Melton's(my Dad's Mom)birthday!! She is 74. She is a Mother of 13 kids... yes I said 13!!!!! Jeri, Jana, Jon, Juli, Jeff, Jean, Jay, Joy, Joel, Jason, Jodi, Jamie, and Jill. 8 daughters and 5 sons! I look up to her alot! She is also a great example of "A Mother Who Knows!" She is a strong woman. Her husband passed away last April from Cancer, so this is her first birthday without her hubby. I can't imagine. I love her SO much and hope she has a great day!
HaPpY BiRThDaY GraNNy!- January 24, 2008
It's my Mom's Birthday, she is 44 years YOUNG! I just want my Mom to know how much I love her. She is my hero, there is NO ONE on this Earth I look up to more than this woman. She is BEAUTIFUL on the inside and out, selfless (ALWAYS thinking of others), so so so strong in the gospel, an amazing friend, an amazing wife, an amazing Grandma, an amazing mother-n-law, and most of all an amazing Mom! This past General Conference I was completely touched on the talk that was given by Julie B. Beck titled "Mother's Who Know" honestly I was bawling the whole talk, I felt the spirit SO strong. First of all cause I'm a Mother and everything she said made it all worth it. Second is because I have a "Mother Who knows!" Every single quality and subject that she talked about related in some way to my Mom... "Mothers Who Know Bear Children..Mothers Who Know Honor Sacred Ordinances and Covenants..Mothers Who Know Are Nurturers..Mothers Who Know Are Leaders..Mothers Who Know Are Teachers..Mothers Who Know Do Less..Mothers Who Know Stand Strong and Immovable!" MOM I LOVE YOU, HAPPY BIRTHDAY! I'm glad Dad is home to spend it with you! HAVE A GREAT DAY!!

Jaxon's Birthday Party- January 23, 2008

Tongan Stake Dance- January 4, 2008
We go to the American Fork Tongan ward.. yeah I know.. weird that we drive a HALF HOUR to church! We REALLY like it and have made some amazing friends in the ward, plus it's good for Enoch to be around his culture and feel of their spirit considering most of his family lives in California. My brother J.J. calls me a "Woly" (a wanna-be poly) ha ha ha Our ward starts at 9:00AM this new year.. so we'll see how long us drivin a half hour to church lasts. ha ha ha. We might just HAVE to buckle down and go to our ward out here in Eagle Mountain.. This Sunday is Stake Conference for our Tongan Stake and we went to a dance at the UVSC Ballroom. It was pretty fun... not as fun as usual, maybe because when we first got there a little boy probably about 5 or 6 yrs old pushed Jett down.. so me (Mrs. Protective over my boys) marched my butt right on over there and yelled at the little boy right in front of his Big Scary Tongan Dad! Ha Ha Now that takes guts! Cause who knows he could have 9 trillion brothers and sisters.. cousins.. aunty's.. uncles comin after me 5 minutes later! But I'm here.. I survived the night...
Here is one of the ward's in our stake performing a number. Our ward did a WAY cute dance, but I forgot to take pics, it was a country dance.. hillarious!

Me and My 1/2 Tongan Baby Boys- I LOVE them SOOO MUCH!

When we got back home some of Enoch's cousins were at our house sleepin over, they're probably Jett's biggest fans! Pouha, Tione, Kaki, Savi, and Sinu Finau.. I LOVE them!

I'm an Aunt!! - January 1, 2008
After a LONG, sleepless night.....Jayden was born at 5:14 AM. He weighed 8 lbs. 13 oz. and was 20 1/2 inces long. He was the 1st baby born in 2008 at the AF hospital! She got a bunch of free cool stuff for having the 1st baby (a massage, $100 gift certificate to Babies R Us, $50 savings account started at the bank of AF, clothes, a ton of flowers, her and Jayden's pic will be in the AF Citizen on Thursday, etc.) I'm so proud of Grace! She was SO strong and did awesome! I got to go in the room when she gave birth to my nephew, what a great oppertunity, such a spiritual experience! She is a sweetheart and will be a great Mommy!
He has a TON of dark hair and THE CUTEST DIMPLES!!

Jett and Bryton's 1st cousin!!

It's gonna be pretty crazy around here havin a 17 month old, a 5 month old, and a newborn.. but I just gotta have patience and everything will be alright! I'm excited to have Jayden's sweet spirit in our home!

New Years Eve- December 31, 2007
New Years Eve was kinda funny... We went over to Jon and Tasha's and we were eating, playing "Apples to Apples", and "Guitar Hero" etc... and @ about 10:30 PM I got a text from my sister n law Grace (she's due Jan 5th) that lives with us, tellin me how much pain she was in, having contractions etc. She was out in Eagle Mtn at our house and we were in Lindon so we met at my parents house and we dropped off our boys for my parents to babysit (thanks again!) and headed to the hospital. When we got her admitted, etc, she got checked and sure enough she was in labor!! She was dialted to a 5 1/2. They put her in her room and she got an epidural right away. She was feelin MUCH better after that! She was competing against one other lady that was in labor to have "the first baby of 2008 in the AF hospital"
Here's some of the girls that were at Jon and Tasha's.

So this is what I ended up watching ALL NIGHT LONG!!

Good Bye Great Grandma and Grandpa- December 30, 2007
My Grandpa and Grandma Ingersoll are leaving on their 3rd mission! They're serving a CES LDS Mission to Honolulu, Hawaii to the U of H Campus for 12 months, they'll get back the same time and J.J... WEIRD! They are really good examples of following the counsel of the church in serving "couples missions". We love them, we're going to miss them, but can't wait to recieve the blessings from their sacrifice and service. I took this picture after they got set apart as missionaries.. aren't they sweet?
Christmas- December 25, 2007
Guess what one of the things I got for Christmas was......?? A NEW DIGITAL CAMERA! So I'm back in business "bloggin"!! Christmas was AWESOME this year! We had our first Christmas in our house... that was fun to decorate, etc. I think the best part of Christmas was helpin others out to make their Christmas a lil' better.
Bryton and Jett in their cute Christmas p.j.'s!

We got to talk to Uncle J.J. (Elder Melton) He sent these mittens to the boys from Estonia, cute huh?

Jett's favorite thing he got from Santa was his new "Cars" bed! He actually sleeps in it every night too! Santa told me it wasn't very fun putting the bed together ;)
