A few girls on the ESHS water polo team & 2 of the coaches are in my ward, I've never been to a water polo game or even seen it played, so I decided to take my kids and go see what it's all about and go support a few people as well. In Utah it's not a very popular sport and I wish it was more popular, it's great! It was AWESOME! BRUTAL. Very physical & different than I expected.

Jett & Bryton get mistaken for twins.... pretty much everyday, I do dress them alike and they're about the same size, so I can see how people would think that. Well we usually buzz Bryton's hair every summer, but it's already fairly warm here and he was getting sick of me doing his hair so.... He got "the buzz" already! I shaved half of his head and said, "okay, you're done... go look!" He went in the mirror like this and about crapped his pants. HAHAHA

Our new favorite thing to do as a family. We found a place in Manhattan Beach that is like 5 minutes from our apartment, we round up some change for the meter and get some snacks and go chill there. There is swings at "the spot" too. I can't wait till I can get my tan on ;) I'm a ghost, living in California. I can't wait till I get a visitor to take em to "our spots".

An update on Oaks:
She is into EVERYTHING! She's been crawling for a long time now, occasionally stands on her own, and has even taken 2 steps one time. She could totally walk, but just doesn't want to. Having 3 boys in the house the toilet seat is left up at times and if it EVER is... she is in the toilet splashing away! EW GROSS. She still hates the car. Her teeth are hilarious, she has 6 in and 2 more on their way. She HATES baby food, she's all about the grown up food. She rips her bows off her head in 5 seconds, you KNOW that bugs the crap outta me. I just can't WAIT for her hair to grow!! I can get a lil tiny poly tail on the top. ha ha. She screams SOOO LOUD! Her and Bryton fight and it is sooo funny. She can say "Da & Ma". She thinks EVERYTHING is a phone and puts it up to her ear and says, "Hi Da!" She's definitely the "pretty princess" around here and we can't get enough of her.



My boys are BEST FRIENDS! Everyone out here thinks they are twins, cause who in the right mind would have kids 12 months apart??

Jett is a lil stud! He's is really smart. He should be in pre-school, we had him registered back in Utah and moved the week he was supposed to start. He'll start what they call "Teddy" out here in El Segundo, it's like preK in Utah, but 5 days a week and FREE! So we're excited for that. He is such a good big brother and is so obedient. He is pretty emotional and when he loses his temper... watch out! He is in a primary class with 5 girls and he Looooves it! ;) All the girls in the ward including the Young Women think he's a lil hottie.

Bryton is HILARIOUS! He says the funniest stuff that keeps us laughing everyday. He pretty much thinks he's Batman. He loves to do everything Jett does. He loves to be told he's good at everything. He is now in Sunbeams and is such a good boy in there, believe it or not. Every time we say a prayer...he HAS to say it first. He's a VERY good eater. Always finishes his food first. He can be "Mr Tough Guy" one minute and the biggest sweetheart next. He asks pretty much every day when we're going back to Eagle Mountain, I don't think it's set in that we've moved. He's always the last one to go to sleep every night too. We LOVE him, even though he's a stinker sometimes & a STRONG one at that! ;)



We moved out here to help run a trucking company with Enoch's Dad, it hasn't really worked out as planned, unfortunately. Luckily, he got hired on at Delta. He's currently looking for another job as well. If any of you know of any sales jobs near LA let us know!! In the mean time we're just tryin to "make a dollar outta 15 cents"

Now that he got hired on at Delta, we go on a lot of plane rides. Everyone thinks I'm CRAZY flying by myself with 3 kids under 4... I don't know why they would??? haha. Let's just say I won't be flying for awhile.. I SO need a break!

Moving out here has brought Enoch and I closer. I'm so grateful for him and the great guy that he is. I don't know how I got so lucky? Times have not been easy out here and he tries to always have a positive attitude and keeps me going. We haven't been on a date since I can remember :( I love him.

We moved to THE CUTEST best city EVER in L.A. Seriously, it's a hidden treasure! Enoch being from Inglewood is what I pictured all of L.A. being like... UM.. NO! It's AMAZING here. The school system is really good, we're close to the Chevron headquarters and they sponsor the schools here to keep up on the programs, etc. the school is ranked the highest in L.A. The high school looks like it should be in a movie. Great community. There is hardly any crime here, it's so safe. We live like 5 minutes from the beach. The weather is INCREDIBLE! It is SOOOO expensive to live here though. Let's just put it this way... we live in a 2 bedroom apartment here and out rent costs as much as our mortgage at our cute house in Eagle Mountain. It's been a HUGE adjustment! I got called as the 1st counselor in the Young Womens presidency and I LOVE it! We absolutely LOVE our ward out here. It keeps me going. At times I get pretty lonely & homesick, so it's good to have a great ward.

Um... gas is RIDICULOUSLY expensive here. It actually raised recently to $3.47!! Let's just say I walk to a lot of places or stay home a lot. :]

We go to this park a lot. I love it. It's fenced in and even has a place right outside it for the boys to ride their scooters everywhere.

We LOVE this donut place which is probably not a good thing.. haha BEST donuts EVER!!

The L.A. Temple is BEAUTIFUL!

We flew to Utah a few weeks ago and went and watched my brother n law's game, it was really fun. He's so good. He plays for Westlake High School in Saratoga Springs. So look for him in the paper & on the news :] Mana Niu

The only family I have out here in California is my Dad's brother Jeff. They live like 40 minutes from me though. Their son, my cousin, Jake came home from his mission today!! We went to the airport to see him come down the escalator. It was so great to see him & his family.

All in all, we really like it out here. Driving is CRAZY out here, I get honked at ALL the time and Enoch has had his fair share of parking tickets as well. It's SO different than Utah, but I like it. I miss my family a lot, but they're just a plane ride away right??

Mine is Emily. I LOVE her! I think it is absolutely crazy that he keeps pulling her away from the group to do special things for her and be so sweet to her. I just hope he doesn't break her heart. Is she not STUNNING?! Wow. Can I have her hair? Body? Teeth? haha ;) I love how she isn't a major cry baby like the others. Seriously Chantal?? SOOOO ANNOYING! I like Alli & Shawntel too, I'd be happy if he chose either one of them as well. Shoot, if I was Shawntel I could care less if he chose me she got HOOKED UP on her one on one date huh?

It's a tie between Ashley H & Chantal for me! They are BOTH ridiculous. I'd rather have Michelle on there than them.. okay maybe not. But, ugh. GET THEM OFF!

She is EMBARRASSING! When she is with Brad she is not as bad, but with the other women?? WOWSERS! Her HAIR is INCREDIBLE! Let's not kid ourselves. She is clearly not there for the right reasons. But what guy would not want a hot girl throwing themselves at him for a few extra weeks?

You guys liking American Idol this season so far?
We are LOVING it! We would prefer these panel of judges over any of the other panels previously. We're loving the talent we've seen so far and can't wait for Hollywood!


What do you think about the "unknown trainers"?
We really like em so far! Clearly they know what they're doing and are doing a great job. When the unknown team weighed in the last episode they KILLED the other team, almost all of them getting double-digits! It's got to be intimidating to come train these contestants against Bob & Jillian ya know?

Do you think Q or Larialmy should have gone home?
I think the right decision was made, cause Q obviously wouldn't do well at home if he can't even push himself 100% on the show. I LOVE how Rulon & Justin put him in his place! How tight is the yellow team? LOVE them. Q better step it up and be true to his wife or else I'd be runnin away from "the unknowns" ha ha

What are your thoughts on Dan & Don?
UGH. FREAKING ANNOYING AND WUSSES! There would be a trillion other people that would give and arm and a leg to be on the show and they were just ridiculous. Granted, I've never been through what Dan has been through, so I give him a little slack, but not much! Glad they're gone. I mean come on!

Who's your favs?
We obviously really like Moses & Kayley :] YAHOO GO GREY!! How amazing is Courtney on the aqua team? You can tell she truly is sooo freaking sick & tired of being fat. She ALWAYS gives it 100% and I'm SOOOO excited to see how she looks at the Finale, she's great! The yellow team is pretty awesome too!

I love to hear people's opinions/feedback on reality TV shows. I need to get a life *sigh*

::Summertime '10::

I know.. I know.. it's about time I update my blog! We're just LOVIN summer. Parades, swimming, fireworks, family, friends, movies, the carnival, etc. We've been busy.
I was released from being the 1st counselor in the Young Womens Presidency. The whole organization was reorganized. I'm pretty sad about it, I'm going to miss my old presidency/leaders a lot.. They're some of my best friends, BUT I was put back in Young Womens, now I'm the Laurel Advisor which I'm excited about, I love the laurels. I'm excited to get to know a bunch of new leaders who were put into Young Womens as well. We have Girl's Camp next week which should be really fun, I LOVED it last year. I'll be going back and forth to camp because my freakin cute 3 1/2 month old babes will NOT take a bottle, she loves to nurse!! I've never had a baby NOT take a bottle, it's tough for me and it takes a lot of time, but hey.. it's free and healthy huh??

Enoch has been taking the boys to movies, cause I don't love them and I'd probably end up standing the whole time holding Oakley. They LOVED Toy Story 3!!

I LOVE the 4th of July!! We had tickets to the Stadium of Fire & I was SOOO excited to take Enoch, he'd never been. I had to take Oaks cause she only nurses, like I said before, but Enoch's cousin & his wife were nice enough to watch Jett and Bryton for the night. They had a BLAST!!! Thanks again Joe & Shelli!!



Well, I was all prepared for The Stadium of Fire. I fed Oakley in the car before we went inside the stadium. I even pumped a bottle in case she was STARVING. I got her to sleep and it started. We were lovin it. Carrie Underwood was singing the National Anthem and the jets flew over and were SO FREAKING LOUD!! They scared Oakley REALLY BAD! She was crying and crying......... and crying and crying and wouldn't stop! I tried getting her back to sleep, feeding her that dumb bottle, putting ear plugs in her ears, etc. NOTHING WAS WORKING. So I went into the bathroom and was NURSING HER!!!! By then Carrie Underwood had started the concert and I was in the stupid bathroom nursing. I was SOOO sad and so close to tears. I felt so bad for my baby who was miserable. I talked to Enoch and we figured if she didn't like the jets, she wouldn't like the fireworks so we left early :( I love love Carrie, ever since American Idol.. Hi, can I be her?? She's STUNNING!! Anyways.. my sweet baby fell right to sleep in the car and we were on our way to get the boys and go home.

How could we get mad at this lil sweetheart? She is such a good baby. "Oaker Doker" "Chunka Munk" "Pretty Princess" She giggles, smiles, coos, chews on things, almost rolling, HATES binkis and bottles, just started using a bumbo, loves her swing. We can't get enough of her. I'm pretty much obsessed with my kids.




On the 4th we went to Midway up to some of our family's house for dutch oven dinner, popcorn, movie outside, etc. It was gorgeous up there and we had so much fun! Yes, we all wore our "4th of July" outfits 2 days in a row.. who cares??


All of these babies are born within 6 months.. kinda fun..
